But besides just making sure you have one of the best hiking sticks on the market, it’s also important to know where to go this spring to truly satisfy your hiking fix. To help you out, here’s a quick guide to some of the best springtime hiking spots in the United States.

Angels Landing (Zion National Park): Angels Landing is the best place to get a scenic view of Utah’s Zion Canyon. This trail ascends 1,488 feet, spans 5 miles, and is suitable for hikers of all skill levels. However, the first 2 miles are considered more well-maintained and smooth before the trail’s conditions become more challenging such as steep drop-offs and narrow paths.

Waihee Ridge Trail (Maui Hawaii): Hawaii is one of the most beautiful hiking destinations in the world and Waihee Ridge Trail is one of the best the Big Island has to offer, especially in the spring when the temperatures are cooler. This is a 5-mile hike that ascends 1,500 feet through the beautiful ridgeline and forest. The beginning of this hike is the hardest part, but incredible vies of the Makamaka’ole Falls make it all worth it.

Maroon Lake Scenic Trail: Once the snow melts in Aspen, Colorado, many residents and visitors trade in their skis and snowboards for hiking sticks and hiking boots. One of their favorite springtime hiking destinations is the Maroon Lake Scenic Trail, which navigates hikers through the Rocky Mountains. This trail includes some of the best views Colorado has to offer, including an amazing look at the famous Maroon Bells.

Upper Yosemite Falls: Yosemite National Park is a national treasure and one of its greatest gifts it gives to hikers is the Upper Yosemite Falls, which is 1,189 square miles of hiking trail that extends through most of California’s eastern border. The trail includes 10 amazing waterfalls and a 2,425-foot ascension to the park’s highest point at the top of Yosemite Falls.
